2025 Day and Overnight Trips


Hello-
The Town of Chester Senior Center is pleased to present to you our tentative day and overnight trips for 2025.
Some are not finalized yet.  I will get that information out as soon as it is confirmed. (i.e.:  Lunch at the Culinary Institute) until then take a look and see what is on the calendar.  Casino trips are not included. When there is an opening in the schedule, I will arrange one.

Trip sign ups go as follows:
Town of Chester residents have first opportunity; there will be a date when we begin to accept out of Town residents. (Out of Town residents will be charged an additional nominal fee)  The flyers for the trips will note the days. 
Please take note of the following:
  • No reservation is guaranteed until payment is received – I recommend that if you are interested you get the down payment/deposit in ASAP for overnight trips. If it is for a day trip payment must be made in full at the time of sign up.
  • Once we have met the max number of people to travel will make a wait list. If we can accommodate you we will let you know as soon as the opening presents itself.
  • In the event you cannot make a trip you are registered for, refunds are not Venues have to be paid in advance, and do not issue refunds.  It is recommended you find someone to take your place or if we have a wait liast we can assist you with reaching people.  In the event you find someone please let me know ASAP so I can make the necessary name change(s).
  • Anyone attending the day trip must ride the motor coach provided.
  • Trip insurance for overnight trips is offered independent from The Town of Chester. It is handled through the travel company we use.  Guests will receive the insurance information and directions on how to obtain.
  • Overnight trips require a minimum number of people to go, if that number is not met we will cancel the trip. That will be announced far in advance and monies refunded.
    • Monies paid for overnight trips are usually non-refundable (unless you have travel insurance) however if we know prior to final count all attempts will be made.
  • Everyone going on either day or overnight trips must provide their cell phone number and emergency contact name and information.
  • Travelers needing up front seating or special accommodations (i.e.: dietary, ambulatory etc.) need to let me know upon signing up so that I can make every attempt to accommodate. 
  • Chaperones are CPR/AED (we travel with one always) and First Aid certified and always accessible to our travelers while we are away regardless of time. Our goal is for everyone to have a memorable and stress free time. You will be provided with our cell phone numbers so you can reach us at all hours.
