Frequently Asked Questions About Camp

* How long is camp?
Camp runs for a total of six weeks, Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
(Some trips will return later than 2:30pm parent/guardian will be notified in advance)

* What grades does camp include?
Camp will be for campers entering grades 1-5 in the 2023-2034 school year

* Are extended hours offered?
At this time there is no early drop off or late pick up offered.

* Is registration per week or for the entire summer?
Camp sessions run weekly:
June 26 - June 30
July 3 - July 7 (NO camp on Tuesday, July 4)
July 10 - July 14
July 17 - July 21
July 24 - July 28
July 31 - August 4
Registration will be for a weekly session

* What type of activities does camp consist of?
Summer Camp offers a wide range of activities to keep the campers stimulated and engaged throughout the day.  Activities can include anything from basic sports like soccer, baseball, kickball to camp favorites like Capture the Flag and Color Wars.  This year we are excited to announce that we will be having trips to some fun places like the Bronx Zoo, Splash Down, Wild West City, and NY Aquarium to name a few.  

* Will lunch be provided?
Lunch will not be provided for your child.  Your camper will need to bring lunch from home daily unless stated otherwise.  Lunches will not be able to be refrigerated, so plan accordingly.  There will be certain days where camp will include a barbecue (hamburgers hot dogs, etc.) parent/guardian will be advised in advance. 

* Will weather conditions affect camp?
Yes, weather will affect camp, please know that we will make every effort possible to hold camp. Some days will be difficult if it is a complete downpour, there is nothing we can do to prevent that.  If the weather should turn after camp is in session and we will need to send the campers home early, we will notify each parent/guardian via text or email.  If the weather is just rain showers we will hold camp!!  We have a pavilion and a tent to keep the campers busy with activities.
